We need an experienced mobile plant operator that is a team player, enthusiastic and willing to put in the hard yards.  

On a daily basis you will be involved in Mobile plant operations, predominantly on Dumpers and Road Trucks. Dependant on the individual skill level this could progress further to digger loader and fixed plant operations.  

This is a team based role so the ability to work well with others and be a willing and positive contributor to the team on site is paramount.

You must be self motivated, punctual and not scared to work the occasional extra hours if required.  You’ll have a positive attitude toward continuous improvement and be willing to accommodate for changes in Health & Safety needs inline with company requirements.

The work hours for this role are 6.30am to 5pm Mon – Fri and Saturday 6:30am to 1pm.

Mobile Plant experience is essential, and the following qualifications are preferred but not a necessity:

- Level 2 National Cert in Quarry Operations

- Class 2 Driver Licence

- Wheels, Tracks, and Rollers endorsements.

Winstone Aggregates is New Zealand’s leading aggregate producer and sand extraction company, with operations throughout the country.

A great opportunity exists for an experienced Excavator/Digger Operator to assist with operations at our Mangere based site.  Ideally you will have experience in operating a long reach excavator, however this is not essential as training will be given.

You’ll need to be a team player with good communication skills and proven experience. In addition the applicant must be familiar with and able to implement all current Health and Safety and Environmental requirements.

This is a permanent full-time role and our operational hours are six days a week, 52 weeks of the year, so flexibility is a must.  A Class 4 licence with W, T, R endorsements are preferred but not essential.
