Christchurch Ocean Outfall
Christchurch City Council’s largest project ever undertaken is complete. The $87 million Ocean Outfall Project takes the city’s treated wastewater from the oxidation ponds and transports it three kilometres out into Pegasus Bay.
Dart 1, Newmarket
A $600 million upgrade of Auckland’s rail network and electrification is well underway with the opening of Newmarket’s new station marking a major milestone.
Project Hobson
The $113,000,000 project has seen the removal of the 98 year old concrete pipeline that bisected Auckland’s Hobson Bay and the Orakei Ridge and its replacement with a three kilometre long sewer tunnel and a new pumping station.
State Highway 20–1 Connection
Forming the southern section of the Western Ring Route, a new 4.5 kilometre motorway replaces Wiri Station Road as the main link from Manukau city centre to the Southwestern Motorway.
