Community Sponsorship Fund

Strengthening Communities and Improving the Environment

When we work together our community becomes stronger.

The Community Sponsorship Fund supports local projects that enhance the environment and improves communities. We focus on the communities around which our quarry and fill sites are located because when we bring people together to work towards a goal, we can make a positive difference. Investing in our environment and our community is an investment in our future.

Community Sponsorship Recipients

We aim to sponsor events and services that are vital to the well-being of our communities and that supports sustainable initiatives. In this way we recognise the importance of local communities to our operations.

Guidance for Applicants

Our objectives and criteria guide our decisions to sponsor any application. We prioritise applications that request product over monetary donations, for example, when community projects that improve the quality of the environment ask for donations of sand or aggregate. We are more likely to approve initiatives that show direct benefits to the community that are far reaching and have measurable results, especially those where the community groups are helping themselves.

Sponsorship Criteria

Our sponsorship criteria includes charitable trusts, incorporated societies, sports clubs and schools that promote community spirit or environmental sustainability.
