Where the last few kilometres of the Ōtaki River flows, the Ōtaki i3Quarry is located in the boulder fields and shingle banks of the Kāpiti coastal plain.
Founded by Douglas Metals in 1957, Winstone took ownership in 1964 via Golden Bay. The Ōtaki quarry produces Alluvial Concrete Aggregates and Sealing Chip for the Kāpiti Coast and Horowhenua Districts.
